A horse and rider combination may jump 2 classes in show jumping, providing they are progressive i.e. 70cm & 80cm, 80cm & 90cm etc.

All changes by 5pm on Wednesday 6th July 2021. 

No changes permitted after this date and time. 

The times will be sent to Team Managers on Thursday 7th July 2022. 

Flu Vacc checking will be at AUK on day of qualifier.

 

Please remember it is the owner’s / competitor’s responsibility to make sure the horse’s / pony’s vaccination certificate is correct. If a certificate is found to be incorrect the horse / pony will be disqualified and not be permitted to compete at the Qualifier. A disqualified horse / pony is not permitted to be substituted at either the qualifier, or for the championship.

  

RULES:

The Competition will be run in accordance with BRC 2022 Handbook Competition Rules.

Health and Safety notices must be adhered to at all times.

Competitors must wear the correct standard hats, with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. All Hats must be tagged with a 2018 BRC/BE/PC Aqua colour tag.

Hats need to be brought to the Official Steward for checking / tagging before competitors will be allowed to compete only if they do not have an Aqua colour tag as per above.

 

Any item of Jewellery,   or alternative medical treatment wristbands must be covered up by clothing or gloves, if they cannot be removed, at the riders own risk.

Hair must be neatly secured and must not hang lower than the shoulder line (when standing normally).

Only competitors may work in a horse/pony before a class/phase.

No horses to be left unattended tied up outside horseboxes/trailers – Rule G9.3 refers. 

DOGS ARE PERMITTED BUT MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS. DOGS MUST NOT BE TIED TO A VEHICLE AND LEFT UNATTENDED.

Children aged 16 years and under must not be left unattended in vehicles. 

Individuals under the age of 12 are not permitted in warm-up arenas on foot under any circumstances. Rule G20.2 refers.

Cars to be parked in allocated area only.

Please pick all litter, muck and hay from around your horsebox in the parking area and take home. 

To ensure the Qualifier is run safely each club taking part will be asked to provide a number of volunteers.
