AUK are providing QR code for anyone with the app on their mobile phone & we will post a track & trace form this morning that must be filled out & handed to Les Hubbard

Hand Sanitiser Stations:There are a number of Hand Sanitiser Stations located around the AUK site.

Competitor Numbers:These should be printed by the Competitor and brought to the qualifier. Bridle numbers, or numbers in bibs are both permissible. A competitor number is also required to be placed in a visible position inside the vehicle.Toilets:AUK will have the toilets open for use.

Cafe:The café is open on a takeaway basis only for usual refreshments.Face coverings:Face coverings are required for all indoor facilities at AUK as per Government guidelines – except SJ competitors when competing. (AUK also allows pole pickers not to wear face coverings when in a competition arena). Face coverings are also required when in close proximity of an Official.

Declarations:There is no requirement to declare on the day as the forms have emailed through. Likewise passports are not to be produced but it is a legal requirement to carry your horse's passport when travelling so please make sure you do still take it with you.

Hat tagging:If a hat requires tagging Cath Cox will be available for this purpose. Cath will wear a bib with Hat Checker on so will be easily identified. Please ask your competitors to identify the information inside the hat and show to Cath.

Track & Trace:The forms will be kept for 21 days as per government requirement. There will also be QR codes designated for AUK for use by the NHS app – though this unlike the forms is optional to use.

Parking:There will be signage for Show Jumping and Dressage parking areas. Once inside gates SJ parking will be straight on up the side of the indoor arena, whilst dressage competitors will turn left towards the outside arenas. Anyone competing in both dressage and SJ will turn left into the dressage parking area. Please park with a minimum distance of 5 metres between each vehicle – preferably 10 metres if using the side ramp. Or, use designated parking distanced spaces placed out on the parking areas.

Warm-up areas:The dressage warm-up area will be adjacent to the arena the test is being ridden. There are 2 competition arenas in the same area. The SJ warm up areas are initially outside and then move to indoors warm up where practice fences are located.

Competition Arenas:The dressage arenas will both be outside in the usual place. The SJ arena will be the inside arena.

Show Jumping format:There will be numerous course walks. The show jumping format has been changed and agreed by BRC Office to enable the minimum amount of time anyone spends on site. Therefore SJ will be one round followed by a short jump-off course for all competitors unless eliminated. In which case the jump-off part of the course will not be used.A reminder there was an update circulated regarding SJ rules which became effective from 1st October.Good news:It is always nice to finish with Good News! Whilst no spectators are permitted on site, the helper / groom may accompany the rider to the warm-up areas when their rider is working in, though not go into these areas to comply with numbers requirements. For Show Jumping competitors helpers / grooms are to remain outside of warm-up arenas, but may go inside for the competition providing a face mask is worn. For dressage competitor helpers / grooms they should stand alongside the outside of the arena whilst the test is being ridden. We hope everyone has a enjoyable & successful day & GOOD LUCK
